Welding
Palmet welds large and small steel constructions with MIG, MAG and submerged arc welding methods. The plate thickness varies from a few millimetres to more than 100 millimetres. Usually the plate thickness is 10–30 millimetres. The welded constructions can weigh a few kilograms up to 40 tons (maximum lifting capacity). Usually, the mass of the welded constructions is a few hundred kilogrammes up to a few tons.
The material is construction steel or stainless steel. Our welders are certified and have long experience in expert welding. NDT testing of the weld seams is performed by our outside partners when required.
